Bradford City Football Club has launched a crowdfunding campaign to redevelop its stadium.

The campaign, set up through ‘football fan-funding’ site Tifosy, is aiming to raise £250,000 to improve facilities at Bradford’s Coral Windows Stadium.

The upgrade includes stadium and seat refurbishments, a renovation of the players’ changing rooms and the installation of a screen to replace an outdated scoreboard.

At the time of publication, the club had raised £38,043.

The club said: “Thanks to the backing from our wonderful supporters, we’re already up and running in our quest to ‘Upgrade the Parade’ - our fan-funding campaign to improve facilities at the Coral Windows Stadium.

“As a club we have a few things we need to improve on, such as, obligatory changing room upgrades, stadium and seat refurbishments.

“When we asked you, the fans, what improvements you would like to make, the resounding answer was an all singing all dancing new scoreboard.”

Fans have 57 days left to invest before the campaign closes.

In 2014, Portsmouth Football Club successfully raised £270,000 through Tifosy to fund its own training ground.
