Housebuilder wins historic design award

Telford Homes has been recognised at the Housing Design Awards for its Frampton Park development.

The Housing Design Awards was launched in 1947 with the aim to expand the quality of design in UK housing and comprises a number of government, private sector and key professional institutions, including the Department for Communities and Local Government, National House Building Council, Royal Institute of British Architects, The Royal Town Planning Institute, The Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors and Home Builders Federation.

Telford Homes’ Frampton Park development was selected as an award-winning design after the judges ruled that it provided dynamic modern living.

The development is fronted by the new Frampton Park Baptist Church, a statement building designed to blend seamlessly with the new housing provided.

Also known as Hackney Square, the development consists of a collection of 47 one-, two- and three-bedroom homes that are designed around a landscaped courtyard.

There are also large communal gardens with a café that opens up to a green space that can be used by all residents.

All apartments have balconies with ground-floor properties containing a small patio area.

Frampton Park also benefits from nearby transport links with London Fields train station just a short walk away.
