The merger was made effective from 30th September, with Drees & Sommer UK continuing to develop the acquired consultancy firm’s portfolio under the name ‘Johnston Houston – Part of Drees & Sommer’ before rebranding the Irish company to take on the Drees & Sommer name in 12 months’ time.
Drees & Sommer took over the 25 staff at Johnston Houston, which consists of surveyors, cost consultants and project managers, saying the acquisition marked a significant milestone in the company’s plans to expand its footprint in the UK and Ireland markets.
