Raj had previously worked in the firm’s credit and portfolio team for the past two years as a senior credit manager.
In his new position, he will work closely with the intermediaries and property developers providing development finance solutions across residential, care and PBSA projects across the UK.
Commenting on his new position, Raj said: “Over the past two years, I’ve gained valuable experience structuring development finance loans and underwriting complex deals, and I’m now ready for a new challenge.
“Everything that I’ve learned over the past two years will help me deliver tailored, flexible solutions for borrowers, while also sourcing opportunities that help grow our AUM. It’s an exciting time at Atelier and I can’t wait to get started.”
Chris Gardner, CEO at Atelier, also commented: “Raj is an experienced real estate banker with a proven track record in originating high quality development loans.
“He is well respected in the market, and we are looking forward to supporting him as he reestablishes himself in the broker and developer market.
“This is the first of a number of announcements you will hear from us as we significantly increase our originations capability and team.”
