Over 120 developers, introducers, accountants, architects and other property professionals attended specialist lender Regentsmead’s industry event last week.
The one stop shop for developers gave property specialists the chance to network and listen to informative seminars about the current state of the market.
The event which Regentsmead hosted alongside Checkmate.uk.com featured seminars ranging from property construction to trading standards relationships.
James Bloom, Chief Executive of Regentsmead, said he was delighted at the attendance in what was its biggest industry event ever.
“We had excellent feedback and were very pleased with the bullish nature of the sentiment in the room,” said James.
“There was a good mix of speakers from legal and accounting to a unique construction method discussed and the attendees’ feedback showed they obtained some really useful information from the event.”
One speaker, David Craddock of EBS ELK, introduced the idea of using closed timber panels for off-site manufacturing.
David pointed out that constructing timber frames for homes offsite could save developers time and money as well as reduce the risk of accidents as the process required fewer workers.
“We were delighted to run this event with our partners Checkmate again and holding it at their parent company Lockton’s head office was again a resounding success,” added James.
“Overall we were delighted with how the event went and we will certainly be looking to repeat this again in the future, watch this space.”
