Music legend's former home up for sale

The former childhood home of John Lennon has gone on the market for £325,000.

Dairy Cottage in Woolton, Liverpool, has been put up for sale through estate agent Whitegates.

Lennon lived in the property as a young child with his Aunt Mimi and mother Julia and returned many times to visit his sisters who continued to live there.

The two-bedroom property was once the original dairy for the village and contains several features such as sandstone walls and the original sloped wooden flooring.

“Whitegates are absolutely delighted to present to the market, a piece of Woolton, Liverpool, and Beatles history,” said the estate agent.

“Dairy Cottage boasts an abundance of original features throughout and viewings are highly advised in order to appreciate the full opportunity.”
