Iron Bridge names new investment manager

Iron Bridge Finance has appointed Edward Alexson (pictured above) as its investment manager with immediate effect.

In his new role, Edward will be responsible for providing comprehensive analysis and technical advice on new funding opportunities.

He will report to Simon Pollins, chief financial officer at Iron Bridge.

Edward recently gained an MSc in real estate investment from Cass Business School and has previously worked at EY, State Street Bank and most recently Canada Life Investments.

Commenting on Edward’s appointment, Simon said: “As a qualified accountant with an MSc in real estate, Ed is not short of options and we are delighted he has chosen to develop his career with Iron Bridge.

“His skill set will complement our strong and experienced team and he joins us at an exciting time of growth and expansion for the business.”

Edward added: “This is an exciting time for Iron Bridge.

“[It has] built an impressive proposition in a very interesting market.

“The demand for mezzanine finance is greater than ever and I’m relishing the challenges ahead and look forward to working with the team.”

In November, Iron Bridge appointed Martin Gilsenan to its main board of directors as managing director-sales.
