Springfield Properties appoints two new managing directors

Springfield Properties has appointed two new managing directors to its private housing division.

The Scottish housebuilder has promoted Dave Main (pictured above, second left) to managing director for the North of Scotland, while Peter Matthews (right) has been named as its new managing director for central Scotland.

Peter joins from Keepmoat Homes, where he served as regional managing director.

This comes as Springfield focuses on geographic expansion and progressing the development of its five village sites.

The new managing directors will help to accelerate the geographic expansion by providing a regional sales focus and increasing operational efficiency.

Dave said: “The company has a tremendous ethos of employee development and excellence.

“Training is highly valued at Springfield and in a growing company there are always opportunities for progression if you deliver projects effectively.

“I am really excited to take on this role as we drive forward Springfield’s pipeline of private developments across the North of Scotland.”

Peter added: “Springfield is a business with a clear vision that over the last two decades has demonstrated its ability to sustain growth.

“I’ve joined a skilled and able team that is focused on increasing sales by delivering what customers want.

“Springfield Villages, in particular, underpin long-term growth and enable us to design great places to live, where a new community can thrive.

“I’m looking forward to playing my part in delivering this vision.”
