Octopus Real Estate’s Student Accommodation Impact Report surveyed more than 1,000 students who currently attend or have completed a degree at a British university.

The study found that students living in PBSA were 15% more likely to achieve top grades than those living at home.

Students living within PBSA were also more likely to be “very satisfied” with their mental health (34%) compared with those living in halls (23%).

Four in 10 first-year students living in PBSA rated technology facilities as “excellent”, compared with less than a quarter living in halls.
