Wilson Developments acquires Scottish site for 89-unit development

DM Hall has completed the sale of a 5.96-acre site in Carfin, Lanarkshire, for the construction of 89 flats and terraced houses for Clyde Valley Housing Association.

The chartered surveyor acted jointly with CBRE on behalf of the Albert Trust and agreed the sale of the site for an undisclosed sum to Wilson Developments.
Wilson Developments has secured planning consent for the construction of the properties, which will be acquired upon completion by Clyde Valley Housing Association.

“Marketing of this site began last summer and following a closing date for the receipt of offers, a deal has just now been concluded with Wilson Developments,” said Graeme Todd, partner at DM Hall.

“This site had previous planning consent, now lapsed, for the development of 55 residential dwellings.

“We were confident, however, that a new residential development application would be considered by North Lanarkshire Council.

“The successful bid has secured planning consent for a development of flats and terraced housing, to comprise 89 units in total, which will be acquired upon completion by Clyde Valley Housing Association.”
