Developer and operator of homes for rent Moda Living and partner Apache Capital break ground at its New York Square development (CGI pictured above).

This marked the first phase of work on SOYO’s £300m redevelopment in Leeds.

The ceremony took place at Leeds Playhouse on 3rd December by main contractor Caddick Construction, LeedsBID’s, Martin Dickson and numerous talented performers from around the city.

It follows a funding agreement between real estate investment business Apache Capital and LaSalle for a £96m debt facility and institutional investment for New York Square.

It is LaSalle’s largest build-to-rent development loan.

The scheme will transform the former Quarry Hill car park into a multipurpose neighbourhood, including new homes, a hotel, public squares, a multi-storey car park and amenities.
