Beaufort completes facility for student accommodation scheme

Beaufort has announced the completion of a facility with Danehurst Developments for a student accommodation development in Egham, Surrey.

The facility was completed in 12 working days last month.

The GDV is forecast to be in excess of £30m and the development will be delivered by HG Construction.

The project will comprise studio flats and cluster apartments for 166 students at Royal Holloway, University of London.

The development will also feature a gym, residents’ lounge, cycle storage, landscaped gardens and quiet study areas.

Joe Flaherty, director at Beaufort, said: “Having funded three previous Danehurst projects, I am well aware of the quality of what it produces and we at Beaufort are thrilled to be supporting it on this project in Egham.”

Bob Bratland, director at Danehurst, commented: “Working closely with them, Beaufort grasped early on our ambitions for the project and supported us wholeheartedly in providing finance to a tight timescale and with efficiency which leaves most other funders behind.”
