Meyer Homes introduces virtual tour software for buyers

Meyer Homes has introduced 3D technology so buyers can view, build and design one of the remaining townhouses at Gabriel Square in St Albans in light of Covid-19 lockdown.

The Revvis 3D, AR and VR software allows buyers to take a fully interactive virtual walk-through tour of every room.

Revvis is aimed at developers, estate agents, architects and interior designers.

The technology allows buyers to select furnishings, fixtures and fittings to plan their future garden, and can change the time of day to see when the sun comes into each room.

Gabriel Square is the first garden square development in St Albans, and is now fully finished, with 125 residents already living on site.

The scheme offers 52 town houses and 28 apartments in total.

Antony Crovella, sales & marketing director at Meyer Homes, said: “Given the current climate, the ability to now give virtual tours of our properties has enabled us to keep marketing to potential buyers.”

Chris Ehrich, director at Revvis, commented: “I’m sure the tool will be a huge success for the new build market as it will help so much with the buying decision.”
