Keepmoat Homes to reopen 46 sites across England

Keepmoat Homes has today (26th May) announced that it will be returning to construction on 46 sites across England.

The company has prepared a phased programme that will allow sites to be reopened over the next few weeks.

It stated that it would be working in line with government and CLC guidelines and adhering strictly to social distancing regulations.

This follows the news last week that Keepmoat was reopening all its show homes and sales centres, excluding Scotland, on 29th May.

Tim Beale, CEO at Keepmoat Homes, said: “The government recognises the construction industry as a cornerstone of the UK economy and a major employer.

“At Keepmoat Homes, we have 1,150 directly employed staff and over 10,000 indirectly employed in our supply chain.

“The government knows we have the skills and procedures to manage safety onsite and trusts us to be in the vanguard of the return to work.

“We have seen continuing demand for new homes and are ensuring that homes are available to buy as consumer confidence returns.”
