Five floors of the building — which comprise a 16-storey east wing and an eight-floor west wing — are undergoing modernisation.
This is part of a continued investment strategy by landlord Aberdeen Standard Investments.
Contractor, Morgan Lovell, has been appointed to deliver a full ground-floor refurbishment, with a new reception, café, three meeting rooms, a conference facility/fitness studio, locker and shower facilities, and new bike storage.

The new refurbished reception at 54 Hagley Road
A programme of office refurbishment is also underway, with new suites for occupiers between 20 and 200 staff to be available over this summer.
All work is expected to be completed by November.
Cameron Mackay, senior asset manager at Aberdeen Standard Investments, said that with the refurbishment, it aimed to provide companies with a great place to work.
“54 Hagley Rd will provide cost-effective, great quality accommodation.
“With Edgbaston becoming ever more popular as a place to do business, socialise and live, the investment commitment to improving this premium office building will undoubtedly pay dividends.
“The works will also complete in advance of the new metro works, which will provide a stop right outside the building, adding to its great connectivity.”
