Iron Bridge names new COO

Iron Bridge Finance has promoted Edward Alexson (pictured above) to chief operating officer.

Edward joined the company in 2018 as an investment manager, having worked for several real estate funds previously, such as Canada Life Investments and State Street.

He has since been promoted to various roles within the business, including his most recent position as investment director, which saw him help complete some of the lender’s largest mezzanine deals during the pandemic, in addition to multiple equity transactions.

“We have a loyal customer base that I have had the pleasure to get to know over the last few years, and we have very ambitious plans to support these clients going forward,” said Edward.

Lance Joseph, CEO at Iron Bridge, added: “Edward is highly educated as a qualified accountant, has a master’s degree in property finance, and has a wealth of experience in mezzanine lending.

“We have worked together for five years, and I have thoroughly enjoyed every moment.

“I am delighted and proud to promote him to chief operating officer, as well as an equity partner in the business.”

The mezzanine and equity lender has also appointed Adam Brews and Oliver Pattni as origination managers, both of whom will report to Edward and will be responsible for originating new business.
