The Mayor of London will consult members of the public about the High Speed 2 and Crossrail development at Old Oak and Park Royal.

Boris Johnson expects the development, which includes one of the largest new stations to be built in the UK, will help to deliver 25,500 new homes.

The Old Oak and Park Royal Development Corporation (OPDC) has issued plan for the area with a consultation period running until 31^st March.

Sir Edward Lister, Deputy Mayor for Planning and Chairman of OPDC, said: “This is the first opportunity that West London residents and businesses have to contribute to the look and feel of the future Old Oak and Park Royal.

“With so much change planned, it is vital that we receive the views of the local community so we can create an unrivalled new part of London.”

OPDC will use comments and suggestions to form the next local plan, which will be consulted on in autumn this year.
