Cogress has raised £1.35m in 24 hours to fund a residential development in a prime location in South West London.

The open equity platform for property, which allows investors to get started with as little as £20,000, raised the money to finance the building of four new-build townhouses in Fulham.

The development has a targeted exit date of October 2017 and is projected to reach more than £7m at sale.

Tal Orly, CEO of Cogress UK, said the company’s community of more than 1,600 investors responded to the project with enthusiasm and demonstrated a strong appetite for investment opportunities in a dynamic market.

“Following a successful first year in the UK, we built a portfolio of more than 25 investments, and worked with some of the top developers in the country,” said Tal.

“This project in Fulham once again perfectly reflects our commitment to securing the best investment opportunities for our network of investors, while contributing to the wider growth of quality housing in London.”
