Conveyancing Association unveils members-only webinar series

The Conveyancing Association will run a series of webinars this summer for member firms.

With the first two taking place in June, these webinars will cover a range of topics.

On 19th June at 11am the premiere webinar will take place under the title ‘advising on restrictive covenants in residential conveyancing’.

This will be hosted by legal training expert, Ian Quayle, in association with tmgroup.

This will cover to what extent sellers should be aware of the benefits of imposing restrictive covenants on land sales, how these should be drafted and how they should be dealt with as part of due diligence when acting for buyers.

Ian will also include a review of recent case law.

The second webinar in the series will take place on 26th June at 11am under the title ‘delivering source of funds transformation’.

This will be delivered by Sheryl Hodgson, head of customer success at Armalytix.

Sheryl will cover how conveyancing firms can change and transform their source of funds process.

“We are very pleased to be launching the first two of a series of ongoing and regular webinars that we plan to hold throughout this summer and hopefully beyond,” said Nicky Heathcote, non-executive chair at the Conveyancing Association.

“Member firms tell us that one of the key benefits of CA membership is access to up-to-date training, support and information, and we are working with our valued affiliate members to bring more of this to our membership.

“We would encourage all interested conveyancers to sign up now and we will be announcing further webinars in due course.”
